wisdom from the little children...

So I babysit two little boys: Dylan 5 (in preschool) and Brandon a new 8 (in the first grade). They are two pretty entertaining boys and here is a conversation that went down in the back of my car on the way to speech:

Brandon: (to dylan) you can't spell anything....
Dylan: after whining a little bit... well, i can do stuff better than you
Brandon: I bet you can't do three things better than me!
Dylan: oh yeah....(kinda long pause) OH! well i can (clucks tongue) and you can't (cluck cluck cluck)...
Brandon: that's a stupid thing that doesn't matter
Dylan: well i can whistle and you can't....AND when i get a shot at the doctor i don't cry...
Brandon: neither do i..(they argue for a minute about who does or doesn't cry at the doctor
Dylan: Well, everybody's not good at something (ending the conversation)

And i just smiled because how true is this...

Life is definitely not meant to be a comparing game, some people are good at some things, and some people really aren't!

So use what you've got for the Glory of God and don't worry about your lack of other talents...
